Troubleshooting
Although we strive to make performance automation plug and play, there is no denying that automation systems are complex. Setting them up and troubleshooting can be frustrating and stressful. Below is a list of common challenges and solutions to get you started. Feel free to reach out to us if you get to the end of the list and are still stuck.

No indicator lights illuminated, OLED blank
Check main power
OLED Displaying DISCONNECTED and an IP Address
- Confirm IP Address is set correctly on the Stagehand and in Spikemark 
- Connect to the Stagehand from Spikemark 
OLED displaying SET IP
- Confirm the IP Address is correct 
- Scroll to "OK" with the jog knob and click 
OLED Displaying FWD/REV or ULT Limit faults
- Confirm physical limits are connected and not engaged 
- Check Safety Sensor status 
- Check aux limit connections 
Orange valve power indicator is Illuminated, but no motion occurs when jogging or running a cue
- Confirm valve is connected to the Stagehand 
- Check valve wiring 
- Confirm pump/HPU is powered on 
FWD Safety Sensor is not illuminated
- Clear any obstruction causing the fault 
- Check any bumpers or mats connected to the FWD safety circuit 
- Install Safety Sensor Jumper if no devices are connected 
REV Safety Sensor is not illuminated
- Clear any obstruction causing the fault 
- Check any bumpers or mats connected to the REV safety circuit 
- Install Safety Sensor Jumper if no devices are connected 
Brake valve (if used) is not firing
- Check wiring
