# Playback Stacking

By default, Spikemark is set to allow playback stacking. Playback stacking allows you to have multiple cues running on the same playback at the same time. If playback stacking is disabled, you will only be allowed to have 1 active running cue for each playback, and you cannot load another cue if the playback is running.
