# Open Sound Control (OSC)

[Open Sound Control or OSC](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_Sound_Control) is an open source protocol for communicating between different systems. Spikemark supports sending OSC messages, receiving OSC messages, and streaming positions over OSC.
