# Triggers
Triggers are for joining together steps to create more complex looks. Triggers look for particular criteria to be met. Once their criteria is met, they automatically start the following step in the sequence. Spikemark 6 offers several types of triggers to best help you control your show while removing the onus of pressing the ‘Go’ button over and over (and over and over…).
