# Adding Motors or Machines

We do a lot with motors. *Shocking as an automation company, I know.* In Spikemark, we have quite a few tools to help you Add, Configures, Use, and Export Motors.

If you are using any [Stock Machine](https://creativeconners.com/products/#Machines) Manufactured by Creative Conners, we suggest you add your machine to your show through the [Machine Library](/docs/spikemark/adding-motors/machine-library.md). We have done all the pre-configuration for you. Start with the correct [position scale](/docs/spikemark/position-scale/position-scale.md), [max speed](/docs/spikemark/speed.md), and more.

If you are using a machine not manufactured by Creative Conners, you will need to do all the [configuration](/docs/spikemark/steps-for-a-successful-load-in.md) of a new machine.
