# 5.1 Set Your IP Address

Set your Stagehands and your Computer to a unique and compatible [IP Address](/docs/spikemark/ip-address-and-network-connection.md).

## Set the IP Address in Spikemark for each machine

1. Go to the **Jog Workspace.**
2. **Select** the motor you want to change.
3. **Highlight the IP Address** in either the side or the bottom **Network Window**.
4. **Type** in the **new IP Address.** It will populate the opposite **Network Window** automatically.
