# Simple Spike

Simple spikes are just like your spike tape on the stage. They have a name and a position. Adding a new Spike will default to a **Simple Spike**.

Simple Spikes are denoted with an `=`(equals sign) and only use a **Value** not a Factor or an Offset.

### Changing the Position Value

To change the position value double click in the **Value** column give it a new position and then press `enter` or `tab` to save it.
