Fault

Check-Points

E.OC2

Overcurrent trip during constant speed

  • Check for sudden load change

  • Run a Brake Test and make sure both brake circuits are working

  • Check for a short-circuit in the output circuit

  • Check the rotation direction(Pr. 359) is set correctly

  • Check that motor capacity(Pr. 80) is set correctly

E.OV2

Regenerative overvoltage trip during constant speed

  • Check motor cable

  • Likely overloaded your brake resistor

  • Reduce Load

  • Reduce Speed

  • Reduce Travel Distance

  • Install a larger brake resistor

E.THM

Motor overload trip (electronic thermal relay function)

  • Reduce Load

E.OLT

Stall prevention

  • Reduce Load

E.OSD

Speed deviation excess detection

  • Check that the speed encoder is tight to the motor

  • Swap Motor Cable

  • Run a brake test - The Brake might not be releasing

Check that Pr. 285 and Pr. 369 are set correctly

E.ECT

Signal loss detection

  • Your Speed Encoder is disconnected

  • Plug in your signal cable

  • Check 5VDC 1 Amp fuse on Stagehand

  • Make sure your encoders are wired correctly and are able to receive a 5VDC power Input

  • Change Pr. 800 to 10 - Don’t do this in lifting/hoisting applications

E.EP

Encoder phase fault

  • Check that your Speed Encoder is wired correctly

Code

Fault

Check-Points

E.OC1

Overcurrent trip during acceleration

Stagehand Pro does not use Drive Level Acceleration. This fault should never happen.

E.OC3

Overcurrent trip during deceleration or stop

Stagehand Pro does not use Drive Level Deceleration. This fault should never happen.

E.OV1

Regenerative overvoltage trip during acceleration

Stagehand Pro does not use Drive Level Acceleration. This fault should never happen.

E.OV3

Regenerative overvoltage trip during deceleration or stop

Stagehand Pro does not use Drive Level Deceleration. This fault should never happen.

E.THT

Inverter overload trip (electronic thermal relay function)

  • If the temperature of the output transistor elements exceeds the protection level

  • Make sure Pr. 0, Pr. 14 are correct

  • Check Speed encoder meets specifications and is wired correctly

  • Reduce Load

E.FIN

Heat Sink Overheat

  • Check that the VFD fan is clean

  • The VFD needs repair

E.UVT

Undervoltage

  • Check Input Power

E.ILF

Input phase loss

  • Check Input Power

E.SOT

Loss of synchronism detection

  • Not used, if you see this error, Your Stagehand Pro will need repair

E.BE

Brake transistor alarm detection

  • Remove Power

  • Replace VFD

E.OS

Overspeed occurrence

  • Check Pr. 374 and Pr. 369
