Hardware Continued

Let's also recap on the pendant hardware and take note of a couple additional features:

  • The Pendant Cable Connection is where you'll be plugging in the Spikemark Vantis cable. This cable provides control signal and power for Spikemark Vantis.

    • Spikemark Vantis comes with an adapter box that connects to the Spikemark Vantis cable in certain set ups. More on when to use that adapter box is below.

  • The Power Switch is where you'll be turning your device on/off.

    • "I" indicates the system is on while "o" indicates that it is off

    • If your system has power, you'll notice the Power Indicator Light turn Green when the system powers up.

  • To select and change items, simply tap with your finger on the touch screen.

  • To adjust values onscreen during set up, feel free to utlize the blue tooth keyboard or rotate the Input Wheel

  • The Jog Paddle is what you will utilize when you want to move a single or multiple axis in a single direction. It requires engagement with the Move Enable Button

  • The Move Enable Button acts as both a Hold-To-Run for jogging an axis or axes with the Jog Paddle as well as a means to execute targeted moves and Presets.

  • The E-stop Button ties Spikemark Vantis back into the Showstopper network, allowing for quick access to Emergency Stops during operation.

System check complete — you’re ready to operate.

All connections are verified, Spikemark is running in the background, and Spikemark Vantis is powered on, synced, and connected. With the controls understood and the system ready, you can now begin moving equipment safely and confidently.
