# Installation

The Control Point intended for permanent installations and must be connected to a Showstopper Base or Showstopper Hub with Showstopper Accessory cable. The Ethernet connections must be conected to the network switch in order to communicate with Spikemark software.

### Flush Mount Control Point

* Install your 8"x8" Electrical Box on or inside your wall
* Install conduit between the Showstopper Base or previous Showstopper Accessory hub
* Run Accessory Cable and Cat5 Cable through conduit

* Attach the green ground wire from the faceplate to the box
* Attach the face plate to the box and and connect the terminator.

### Surface Mount Control Point

* Install the box on the wall. Be sure to use appropriate wall anchors. Holes are cleared for 1/4" hardware

* Install conduit between the Showstopper Base or previous Showstopper Accessory
* Run Accessory Cable and QTY: 2 Cat5 Cable through conduit

* Attach the green ground wire from the faceplate to the box
* Attach the face plate to the box and and connect the Showstopper Accessory Terminator and Pendant Terminator.
